BEHIVE stands for creating a meaningful dialogue between “Building” and “Environment”, in a hive-like collective effort. We explore the relationship between human and nature through the means of architecture and strive to create designs that put their existing conditions in a new light.

The diversity and vitality inherited in architecture fascinate us. The dynamic interactions between man and its surroundings, the experiences, the atmosphere and sensations brought up by settings in space, the spirit of a place, these are the things we seek in our everyday work.

BEHIVE was founded in 2015, and has gained comprehensive experiences in architecture, interior, master planning, and landscape. We are open-minded, passionate and visionary. We do not limit ourselves in certain methodology, instead, we has been actively working on all sorts of projects varying in scale and in program, such as cultural, workplace, headquarter, mixed-use, retail, hospitality, renovation, etc. From programming till the construction, we have built up extensive knowledge in all stages of design, and therefore are capable of providing the clients with a broad scope of services.

The partners of BEHIVE have also been teaching in design studios in XJTLU University in the past few years, and also lecturing and sharing the works in several exhibitions. Our active involvement in education and research, contributes to the practice significantly and vice versa.
